Both micro and nano currents are said to work at the cellular level to activate the production of the chemical ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate). FYI, ATP declines as we age. ATP is responsible for giving energy to the cells that they need to repair and replenish. Over time, this results in skin rejuvenation (which translates to reduced signs of aging).
