Your skin reminds me of

The Fiddle Leaf Fig has been called the ‘mean girl’ of plants. Looking this good can be hard work, but it’s not so tough once you know a few tricks.

The giant green leaves of a fig are reminiscent of normal-oily skin, and just like your skin there is a little extra attention needed because it’s breakout-prone but also typically more reactive/sensitive to those products that treat breakouts (boooooooo).

No worries. The products in the package will help you flourish like a Fig!

Ready to get started?!

Use the following guide to choose one product from each step - either medical grade or drugstore-to create a COMPLETE synergistic routine. I recommend trying both products to form your personal preference and choose where to spend.

What to Expect

It takes 6-8 weeks to adjust your skin to using a routine daily and 4-6+ months to see the best results. Think of this as beginning a new workout for your skin.

Your skin gradually becomes healthier and able to tolerate active ingredients- like retinoids, and toners/exfoliators- more often.

Prioritize sunscreen, retinoid+ moisturizer, and vitamin c serum then a toner. These have the most important ingredients!

Listen to your skin

If your skin is itchy, burning, or uncomfortable in any way that's your sign to use the active ingredients less. It's never wrong to simply cleanse and moisturize.

Products Paired on Purpose

These are, of course, not the only products that will work for your skin, but sticking to products with these ingredients in this order is a method for success. If you prefer to switch out any step with a similar product you're currently using and love, go for it!

Below is your medical-grade routine explained.

Your A.M. Skincare Routine

AM Cleanser

Epionce Lytic Gel Cleanser

My cleanser pick for oily yet sensitive skin. This is one of Epionce's standout products. It's made for oily skin but uses willowbark, the naturally occuring form of salicylic acid, so that it doesn't overdry. It complements other products in a skincare routine so well unlike many cleansers for oily skin.

AM Treat

SBS Daily Toning Pads

Textured toning pads are the perfect way to add chemical and physical exfoliation to prevent and treat breakouts as well as discoloration from past breakouts and sun. They're easy-to-use and great for post-workouts, travel, teenagers, or anyone that loves to keep things simple. They also reduce the appearance of razor bumps on both men and women and can be used after shaving for prevention.

AM Treat (Pregnancy-Safe Skin Care)

Epionce Lite Lytic Tx

My pick for retinoid alternative during pregnancy or those that can't tolerate a retinoid. Of course check with your OB before using. Azelaic acid is universally considered safe in pregnancy. This product combines azelaic acid with salicylic acid <2% (so less than what is at the drugstore) to treat breakouts from 2 angles so double the efficiency. I like to use this in place of toner twice daily or some skin types- especially for those who can't tolerate a retinoid well.

AM Vitamin C

Epionce Intense Defense Serum

This is the vitamin C for those with any skin sensitivities or rosacea . It has a derivative of ascorbic acid called THD Ascorbate, which makes it more appropriate for the most sensitive skin. It also serves as an anti-aging serum and has all vitamins A-E found in our skin- that means niacinamide too. This can be your go-to serum for everything twice daily.

AM Eye Cream

Epionce Renewal Eye Cream

The hands-down BEST EYE CREAM. The texture, ingredients, price, plus it's made for those with extra sensitive skin. I've tried 40+ eye creams, and this is it. There are others that are similar, but they will be over $100. I love that it's in a pump bottle as well, and this is the skincare definition of just a dot not a lot. It lasts for 4-6 months because a little goes so far. If you don't like it email me- I want to learn why!

AM SPF Moisturizer

EltaMD UV Clear

My go-to daily SPF moisturizer because it's packed with so many wonderful ingredients and is lightweight enough for all skin types. The tinted option is so subtle but gives a bit of coverage and simply blend with another product to make the perfect color and coverage.

PM Oil Cleanse/Make-Up Remover

EltaMD Oil In Gel Cleanser

Oil cleansing is the secret to healthy, beautiful skin! EltaMD Oil-in-Gel Cleanser is the perfect two in one cleanser. It works better than straight oil cleansers, IMO. The unique texture gives Pond's Cold Cream the ease it offers without the residue. It combines the effectiveness of a traditional cleanser with the benefits of an oil cleanser. It's my pick for breakout-prone skin and can be used twice daily.

PM Cleanser (Same as AM)

Epionce Lytic Gel Cleanser

It's made for oily skin but uses willowbark, the naturally occuring form of salicylic acid, so that it doesn't overdry. PM Treat

Avene RetrinAL 0.1% Intensive Cream (or RX)

If you're new to retinoids this one is a great place to start for all skin types. It's my product pick for those who can't tolerate a stronger and less expensive retinoid. I never recommend retinol because retinaldehyde is stronger, and still less irritating than the active retinoid form called retinoic acid. The quality and price are wonderful compared to other products in this class.

PM Moisturize

Epionce Renewal Facial Lotion

I love a lotion in a pump and this one is made for those with oilier skin so it's not as thick. I've found all skin types can use it in the AM and as their go-to lightweight moisturizer. There is a very subtle smell that culminates from the natural botanical ingredients that is truly relaxing and why I ultimately decide to pay a little extra for Epionce moisturizers to elevate my self care routine in the AM + PM.

PM Moisturize (Pregnancy-Safe Skin Care)

Epionce Renewal Facial Cream

This is the slightly thicker version of the Epionce face moisturizers. It's in a tub so thicker than the Renewal Facial Lotion but not as thick as the Intensive Nourishing Cream. The texture still serves well as a thicker PM option that can be used in AM for dry skin year round and in winter for oily skin. Honestly Epionce moisturizers across the board- face, body, skincare mask- are 100% worth the entire experience including texture, ingredients and very subtle smell that culminates from the natural botanical ingredients.
