The First Place to Spend your Money: Anti-Aging Skincare
Welcome to the world of anti-aging skincare! With so many options available on the market, I know that it can be overwhelming to know where to invest your hard-earned money. No worries! I’m here to advise you on all the basics, especially where to prioritize spending when it comes to your skincare needs.
First things first- make sure you have a daily face sunscreen with SPF 30-50. This doesn’t have to be expensive, but it’s the most important. When it comes to cost here’s what you need to know:
Vitamin C serum is the first place I recommend spending money on for your anti-aging routine.
Before you start wandering the aisles of your closest drugstore or beauty stores, it’s so important for you to know where to spend money for your specific skin situation and goals.
💻 Not sure where to start try my Serums/Vitamin C Guide.
I want you to feel confident to evaluate skincare products based off ingredients to aid in the search for your next vitamin C serum.
Know this >> Ingredients to look for in your vitamin C serum: Ascorbic Acid -or- THD ascorbate
Does Price Matter?
I get the question often, “is this one for $20-$30 as good as…?”
The answer is, if there’s been no head- to-head double-blinded research study, so we don’t really know.
But good news!! That’s where my 1:1 skincare consults are here to help ♥️ We can talk about which favorite vitamin C product is best for your skin and budget. I’m here to be your personal skincare consultant!
Don’t forget: If you are age 25+ you should 100% be adding a vitamin C serum into your daily routine.
The science doesn’t lie. For less expensive products, the results can’t be replicated or proven to be effective. However, I highly recommend Obagi and SkinCeuticals because there’s research and years to CONFIDENTLY show they deliver what they promise!
Remember: Consistency is key
Find a daily routine you’ll enjoy and stick to so you can enjoy the results later!
When it comes to anti-aging skincare, it's SO important to invest in a good Vitamin C serum. Antioxidants form the foundation of your anti-aging skincare routine and will provide you with the best bang for your buck. Please don’t skimp on this step because you’re overspending on other products in your routine. Of course, there are plenty of other products that can aid the anti-aging process. <<< Per usual, I have a lot to say!
